A permanent adalat for addressing complaints of the public regarding the services offered by the Kochi Corporation was inaugurated on Sunday. Minister for Law and Industries P. Rajeeve inaugurated the programme, which was jointly organised by the Corporation, the Kerala State Legal Services Authority (KELSA), and the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA).

Kerala High Court Judge A. Muhamed Mustaque delivered the keynote address. Former Kerala High Court Judge and Chairman of the Gandhian Initiative for Social Harmony M.R. Hariharan Nair spoke. Mayor M. Anilkumar presided.

The general public can submit complaints regarding the functioning and services of the Corporation in complaint boxes placed in all civic body offices. The complaints will be compiled and forwarded to both KELSA and DLSA and will be taken up at the adalats, says a communication issued by the Corporation.
