Bharathamatha College of Arts and Science, Kozhinjampara, held a day-long seminar on ‘Vision 2047 for India 2.0: empowering digital finance through artificial intelligence’ on Friday.
Academicians, industry experts and students took part in the seminar which discussed the transformative role of AI in shaping Indian’s financial ecosystem over the next two decades.
Gabriel Simon Thattil, former head of the Department of Commerce, Kerala University, inaugurated the seminar. He spoke on the role of AI-driven automation, fraud detection and financial inclusion in India’s journey towards a robust digital economy by 2047.
College principal Fr. Paul Thekkanath presided over the function. Financial administrator Fr. Fijo Chittilapilly offered felicitations.
Keerthi M.S., head of the Department of Commerce, Yuvakshetra Institute of Management Studies, Mundur, spoke on ‘Future of fintech: AI-enabled security and efficiency for India’s digital economy’.
P. Bruntha, head of the Department of Commerce, NGM College, Pollachi, spoke on ‘transforming customer experience in digital finance: AI’s role in India’s journey to 2047’.
