Justice K.N. Phaneendra, Upa Lokayukta of Karnataka Lokayukta, will be on a four-day visit to Shivamogga from March 18. He will be receiving complaints from the public during his stay in the city.
A communiqué from Lokayukta Superintendent of Police Manjunath Choudhary, on March 10, said that Justice Phaneendra would reach Shivamogga by March 18 evening.
On March 19, he would receive public grievances between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Kuvempu Ranga Mandira.
People can avail of the opportunity to bring to his notice complaints regarding delay in getting their work done or any other inconvenience faced in government offices.
On March 20, he would hold a meeting regarding the complaints registered with the Lokayukta and on pending cases in the presence of complainants and opponents. The meeting would be held at the Nazeersab auditorium in Shivamogga Zilla Panchayat building.
The communique carries an appeal to complainants to attend the meeting.
