The Museum police have arrested two youths on the charge of possessing 6 kg of ganja.
The arrested were identified as Vineesh, 22, of Kulasekharam and Ananthu, 22, of Kudappanakkunnu.
The Museum police had seized the ganja from the youths during an inspection near Sasthamangalam. The duo had brought it for peddling it at various places in the city.
It was on the directions of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Law and Order – 1) Thiruvananthapuram City B.V. Vijay Bharath Reddy that a team led by Stuart Keeler, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Cantonment, and Museum station house officer S. Vimal arrested the youths. They were produced in court and remanded.
