Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 136.40 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 2,463 cusecs and a discharge of 2,117 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 59.42 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 1,754 cusecs and a discharge of 2,448 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 8,596.40 mcft. Mullaperiyar dam recorded a rainfall of 0.8 mm and Gudalur 0.4 mm in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
