The police have arrested three persons in connection with the murder of a 23-year-old youth. He was found dead with multiple injuries in his rented house near Karamadai on July 8.
P. Kamalakannan, 20, of Coimbatore, K. Nagaraj, 19, of Edayarpalayam and B. Keerthana, 22, of Mangalakarai near Karamadai were arrested for the murder of S. Sanjay of Ayarpadi near Karamadai.
The Karamadai police, who found the body of Sanjay with 12 cuts, registered a case and launched an investigation. They found that Keerthana, who worked as teacher in a private school, had enmity with Sanjay, who had been vending milk, after the latter allegedly circulated defaming remarks about her.
