Telangana Reactor Blast: CM Revanth orders rescue of trapped workers at Pashamylaram pharma unit

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday (June 30, 2025) expressed deep sorrow over the blast at a reactor unit in Sigachi Industries Private Limited, located in the Pashamylaram industrial area on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The explosion, which occurred in the morning hours, triggered immediate emergency response efforts.

The Chief Minister directed officials to take all necessary measures to rescue workers who may be trapped at the site and ensure that the injured receive prompt and adequate medical care.

Health Minister C. Damodar Raja Narasimha, too, took stock of the situation and instructed Sangareddy District Collector P. Pravinya to ensure top-quality treatment for the injured. The minister is expected to visit the site shortly to assess the situation first-hand.

Following the directives, both the district collector and superintendent of police Paritosh Pankaj reached the accident site and are personally supervising the ongoing relief and rescue operations.
