Actor Posani Krishna Murali was taken into custody by the Kurnool police on Tuesday (March 4, 2025) in connection with a case filed against him in the Adoni III Town police station.
Mr. Krishna Murali was taken into custody from the Guntur district jail where he was lodged following his arrest in a case registered against him by the Narasaraopet police recently.
Multiple cases were registered against Mr. Krishna Murali, who served as the chairman of the Andhra Pradesh State Film, Television & Theatre Development Corporation during the tenure of the previous YSRCP government, for his alleged derogatory remarks against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and IT Minister Nara Lokesh.
Mr. Krishna Murali was arrested by the Annamayya police from Hyderabad in February this year and was produced before the court. He was sent to judicial remand in Rajampet sub-jail. A couple of days ago, Narasaraopet police arrested Mr. Krishna Murali and was shifted to the Guntur prison.
On Tuesday (March 4, 2025), the Adoni police took Mr. Krishna Murali into custody from Guntur prison and shifted him to Kurnool. He is likely to be presented before a court on Tuesday (March 4, 2025) late night.
