Minister for Tourism Kandula Durgesh calling on the next of kin of Pahalgam victim S. Madhusudhan Rao, at Kavali in Nellore district on Friday.
Jana Sena Party (JSP) president and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan has donated ₹50 lakh to the next of kin of S. Madhusudhan Rao, who was shot dead in the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu & Kashmir recently.
Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh, TIDCO Chairman Vemulapati Ajay and JSP’s district general secretary G. Kishore called on Mr. Rao’s family members at Kavali in Nellore district on Friday.
As instructed by Mr. Kalyan, the team handed over cheques for ₹22.5 lakh each to Mr. Madhusudhan’s son studying in Class VIII and daughter studying Intermediate, besides ₹5 lakh to his parents.
The Minister also announced that the party would stand in support of the bereaved family even for its future requirements.
