NEW DELHI: The Delhi high court on Wednesday approved bail for the accused, Neelam Azad and Mahesh Kumawat, who were charged in connection with the security breach incident at Parliament that occurred on December 13, 2023. Both were among those accused of compromising the security measures at the legislative building.The security breach at the old Parliament building took place last year on December 13, coinciding with the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack. The four main executors – who had set off smoke canisters inside and outside Parliament – were held from the spot while two others surrendered to police a day later.The Delhi High Court bench, comprising Justices Subramonium Prasad and Harish Vaidyanathan Shankar, approved bail for Neelam Azad and Mahesh Kumawat.
