Mayiladuthurai Collector visits Periyar Government Hospital

District Collector H.S. Srikanth conducted a surprise inspection at the Mayiladuthurai Periyar Government Hospital in the town on Sunday, reviewing its operations and facilities.

Mr. Srikanth visited the hospital and inspected the outpatient department (OPD), pharmacy, drinking water facilities, and restrooms. He examined daily patient attendance records, doctor and nurse attendance logs, and other hospital documentation.

During his visit, he interacted with patients at the OPD to assess whether they were receiving proper treatment and enquired about the availability of medicines with the Deputy Director of Health Services, Marudhavanan, who accompanied him during the inspection.
