Legal process has been initiated to extern 36 persons from Dakshina Kannada, according to a release by the district police.
Of them, four are within the limits of the Bantwal Town police station, six within the limits of the Bantwal Rural police station, three within the limits of the Vitla police station, one within the limits of the Punjalkatte police station, two within the limits of the Belthangady police station, six within Puttur town limits, three in Puttur rural limits, one with in Kadaba, six within the Uppinangady police station limits, and two persons each are within the jurisdiction of Bellare and Sullia stations.
The release provided only the names of the persons against whom the legal process for externment has been initiated, as well as the names of the police stations within whose limits they fall.
Some of the names mentioned in the list include Mahesh Shetty Timarodi, 53; Arun Kumar Puttila, 54; Bharat Kumdelu, 38; Hasinar, 46; Mahammad Ashraf, 44; Abdul Latif, 40; Hakim Koornadkka, 38; Samshuddin, 36; Lathesh Gundya, 32, and Shameer, 38.
