A 17-day application window will be opened on Wednesday for the students of Classes 6, 7, and 8 to fill the vacant seats in 33 CM SHRI Schools, the Directorate of Education stated in a circular dated July 23.

The students will be eligible for admissions based on their merit in the CM SHRI Schools Admission Test 2025, which will be conducted on August 30. The test results will be out on September 10, and the admission process will end on September 15.

A total of 75 CM SHRI Schools have been established, while the Delhi government has decided to begin the admissions in 33 schools, the circular read.

“The admission to these schools will prioritise talented and deserving meritorious students with high potential, thereby enabling them to access high-quality education and fulfil their academic and career aspirations,” a DoE circular dated July 23, stated.

The DoE added that the paper shall be an OMR-based objective-type test. A class-wise syllabus of the test paper will be made available online, along with a sample copy of an OMR sheet to familiarise the aspirants. The 100-mark paper will be bilingual and comprise questions based on English, Hindi, general awareness, numerical aptitude, and mental ability.

Sources said that the Delhi government has upgraded and expanded the Aam Aadmi Party’s Dr. BR Ambedkar Schools of Specialised Excellence (ASoSE) to rebrand them as the CM SHRI Schools.
