Doctors donate blood to mark National Surgeons’ Day

Around 100 people, including doctors, participated in a blood donation camp organised by the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Puducherry chapter, to mark the National Surgeons’ Day.

The camp was organised in collaboration with JIPMER blood bank and Young Indians Puducherry chapter. Around 20 surgeons based in Puducherry donated blood at the camp. The ASI has decided to collaborate more for blood donation and in supporting JIPMER blood bank, chairman of ASI Puducherry chapter Satish Nallam said in a communication.
