An Indigo flight headed to Delhi from the Kochi airport in Kerala made an emergency landing in Nagpur following a bomb threat on Tuesday (June 17, 2025) afternoon.
The bomb threat was received via the Kochi airport’s official e-mail. The flight, which had arrived in Kochi from Muscat, departed as a domestic flight to Delhi at 9.31 a.m.

The Bomb Threat Assessment Committee of the Kochi airport convened immediately and found the threat ‘specific.’ The information was promptly communicated to relevant authorities, and the flight made an emergency landing at the Nagpur airport.

At present, inspection is under way at the Nagpur airport.
After completing the security checks, the aircraft with over 157 passengers and six crew members is expected to proceed to Delhi.
