The Anti Narcotics Intelligence unit (ANUI) of the City Police arrested four persons for drug peddling, and seized more than 100 kg of ganja on Tuesday.
The police said, during a vehicle check, an ANUI team spotted an autorickshaw and two-wheeler parked near Chengalvaraya Arts and Science College, and the accused engaged in a conversation. When enquired, they gave contradictory answers. On suspicion, the team searched their bags and found ganja concealed in them.
Subsequently, they arrested the kingpin Revathi, Bandaru Nageshwar Rao, Gajapathy, and Dinesh, and seized the ganja.
