The Government organised the birth anniversary celebrations of Édouard Goubert, former Mayor and first Chief Minister of Puducherry, on Tuesday.
On the occasion, Public Works Minister K. Lakshminarayanan, Government Whip P.V. Aroumougame, MLAs AK. Sai J. Saravanankumar, S. Ramesh, R. Baskar (A) and U. Lakshmikandhan garlanded his statue located at Bharathi Park.
