Bank of Baroda conducted a town hall meeting for its staff members from Mangaluru city, Udupi and Puttur regions here on Wednesday.
The employees from four other regions were connected through live web cast.
The meeting also included interactive sessions, where frontline staff shared expectations, insights and success stories on customer service delivery, branch performance, and innovative practices adopted at the ground level. The latest edition of ‘Mangaldwani’, the zonal quarterly magazine was released on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Beena Vaheed, the bank’s Executive Director, stressed the need for consistent and innovative customer engagement across all branches.
“Excellent branch ambience is the foremost customer expectation. It is the first impression that builds trust and comfort. In today’s banking landscape, delivering seamless, courteous, and responsive service is the foremost responsibility,” a release from the bank quoted her as having said.
Rajesh Khanna, general manager and Mangaluru Zonal Head of the bank, presented the bank’s market share and performance of the zone during Q1 in various parameters. He outlined the key initiatives being implemented to elevate customer satisfaction, including infrastructure upgrades, staff training, and others, the release added.
