In the run up to Bank of Baroda’s 118th foundation day on July 20, it has launched ‘Rise with Yoga’ campaign to motivate employees to regularly practice yoga.
In a press release, Bank of Baroda executive director Lal Singh said health and welfare of employees was the top priority for the bank. “Yoga improves fitness, reduces stress and promotes overall well-being. The bank was committed to create an environment where every employee can thrive physically, mentally and emotionally,” he added.
General Manager and Zonal Head, Mangaluru, Rajesh Khanna said regular yoga practice can lead to a more balanced and harmonious life.
On Saturday, the Bank organised in-person yoga session for employees in Mangaluru and other locations across the country. Mr. Khanna led the session in Mangaluru, which was conducted under guidance of a certified yoga instructor, the release said.
