Anganwadi inaugurated

An anganwadi, a multi-purpose building and a gymnasium were inaugurated in Ward 74 of the Thiru-Vi-Ka Nagar zone (VI) in Chennai on Saturday by Minister P.K. Sekarbabu and Mayor R.Priya. According to a press release from the Greater Chennai Corporation, the children’s centre was constructed at a cost of ₹40 lakh. The multi-purpose building was built at a cost of ₹32.90 lakh. The gymnasium, equipped with fitness equipment, was set up at a cost of ₹9.87 lakh, the release added.
