An attender working at Durgabai Deshmukh Hospital in Hyderabad has been booked for allegedly misbehaving with a female attendant of a patient inside a ward room.
The incident took place on Monday (July 14, 2025), prompting a complaint from the woman to the Nallakunta police. According to an officer from the police station, the accused has been identified as Sitaram.
The officer said that Sitaram is alleged to be mentally disturbed and undergoing treatment at the Institute of Mental Health, Erragadda.
The complaint states that Sitaram approached the woman while she was resting near her patient’s bed and behaved inappropriately. Following her complaint, a case was registered and the accused taken into custody.
