Traders urged to register afresh in ‘Vyapara’ software for license renewal

Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC), as per the State government’s directives, will use the ‘Vyapara’ software developed by the government for issuing and renewing trade licences, said Commissioner Ravichandra Naik, on Friday. He asked traders to register afresh in the ‘Vyapara’ software by submitting the required documents for renewing their licences.

To submit their applications, traders may log on to the website http://www.mrc.gov.in, select the ‘Citizen Online Services’ section, followed by the ‘Apply for trade licence’ option.

The trade licence fee can be paid, and the status of the application can be checked online. Once the licence is approved, it can be downloaded online. Unlike multiple levels of scrutiny that existed earlier, there will now be only two levels of scrutiny of an application, said the Commisioner.
