Water level in Mullaperiyar dam

Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 130.35 feet (permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 4,789 cusecs and a discharge of 1,733 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level stood at 61.84 ft. (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 1,549 cusecs and a discharge of 769 cusecs. The combined storage in Periyar credit was 6,477.01 mcft.
