“While inaugurating the first unit of HCLTech last year in Kochi, I had said that the company will be able to further utilise the potential of Kerala. The day after the unit was launched at Infopark, we received a message from the company’s Corporate Vice President and Head of Engineering (R&D) Hari Sadarahalli. He said the company wanted to start another unit in Kerala very soon. Now, seven months later, the company has opened its second unit in the State. HCLTech is becoming a new example that reinforces our confidence that those setting up their business in Kerala will soon expand or open new units,” said Mr. Rajeeve.

He expressed confidence that Mr. Sadarahalli’s words that the company’s attention was drawn to Kerala by the excellent human resources and infrastructure will bring more companies to Kerala. Seeram Sambasiva Rao, Special Secretary, Electronics & IT and Executive Director of the Information Kerala Mission (IKM), Fabrizio Salvatore, Head of Infrastructure Services and Information Security, EMT Member, Allianz Technology, Jayant Tulsiani, Branch Head, Allianz Technology India and Sudip Lahiri, Executive Vice President and Head of Financial Services, Europe and UKI, HCLTech, were present at the opening of the Thiruvananthapuram centre.
