JA Resorts & Hotels, a homegrown Emirati hospitality group, has named MICEverse as its strategic representative in India. The partnership signals the group’s intent to expand its presence in India’s fast-growing outbound travel segments, including destination weddings, corporate incentives, and experiential group travel.
MICEverse, a vertical of One Rep Global, will lead sales and marketing activities, drawing on its extensive industry networks and knowledge of Indian traveller preferences. The collaboration aims to position JA Resorts & Hotels as a top choice for Indian planners seeking immersive, high-value experiences in the UAE and Maldives.
Founded in 1981, JA Resorts & Hotels operates seven properties across the UAE and the Maldives. Its offerings range from beach and urban hotels to mountain escapes and private islands. Among the group’s key destinations is JA’s original beachfront location in Jebel Ali, which features three distinct properties including the JA Lake View Hotel, home to the contemporary Indian restaurant Kinara by Vikas Khanna. The location is being further strengthened with the launch of the JA Sports & Shooting Club, adding new appeal for sports-focused events and group celebrations.
In India, the appointment is expected to drive tailored engagement with corporates, wedding planners, and travel designers. Commenting on the development, Hemant Mediratta, Founder and CEO of One Rep Global, said, “JA Resorts & Hotels joining the MICEverse portfolio is a strong endorsement of our ability to deliver results. We equip Indian travel professionals with the tools and access they need to deliver value-led experiences aligned with local expectations.”
Ralph Porciani, CEO of JA Resorts & Hotels, added, “We are delighted to appoint MICEverse as our strategic partner in India, a market that holds immense long-term value for JA Resorts & Hotels. Our destinations offer ideal settings for Indian weddings, celebrations, and incentive groups, supported by our commitment to heartfelt service and meaningful engagement.”
The partnership comes as Indian outbound travel surges, and Dubai’s Jebel Ali area emerges as a key hub with infrastructure expansion and enhanced connectivity.
