Data is the backbone of modern governance and business strategy, and the ability to harness analytics and artificial intelligence will define the success of organizations in the coming years, Special Chief Secretary to the Government (Revenue) RP Sisodiya said.
Delivering the keynote address at National Seminar on Advances in Business Analytics and Intelligence at Acharya Nagarjuna University in Guntur on Friday (February 14), Mr. Sisodiya emphasized the transformative role of data-driven decision-making in governance and industry. He highlighted how artificial intelligence and big data are revolutionizing various sectors, from revenue management to public service delivery, enabling governments and businesses to make more informed and strategic choices.
He noted that organizations that effectively integrate analytics into their operations will gain a significant advantage in the evolving economic landscape. Mr. Sisodiya stressed the importance of preparing students and professionals for a data-driven future, urging participants to embrace technological advancements while remaining mindful of ethical considerations in data usage.
The seminar was presided over by Vice-Chancellor of ANU K. Gangadhara Rao who commended the university’s efforts in fostering research and innovation in business analytics. He emphasized the need for academic institutions to collaborate with industry experts to equip students with the necessary skills to excel in the era of big data and artificial intelligence.
