Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday announced that the Central government has sanctioned a loan of ₹821.26 crore to Delhi for accelerating infrastructure development across critical public service sectors.
Ms. Gupta said 66% of the sanctioned amount has already been released as the first instalment, paving the way for the immediate implementation of key projects.
The CM added that the funds will be utilised for works in various sectors, including health, education, housing, drinking water, electricity, and transport. The funds were approved under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment for 2025-26.
